Lois B. Beach's Obituary
Lois B. Beach, 94, of Rock Island, passed away Monday March 29, 2010 at Heartland Manor Care, Moline, Illinois.Lois was born July 5, 1915 in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of Harry and Catherine Gott Morrison. She married Robert J. Shiltz on July 8, 1945 in Centerville. He preceded her in death in 1967. She later married Lawrence Beach in Davenport. He preceded her in 2009.Lois enjoyed crocheting, reading and was a church organist.Survivors include a daughter, Karyn and her husband, Drew Maddox of Omaha, Nebraska; sons, Paul and his wife, Kathy Shiltz of Davenport, Iowa and Carroll his wife, Donna Shiltz, Bettendorf, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a sister, Adeline Click, California; brothers, Raymond Morrison of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Laverne Morrison of Rock Island, Illinois.She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Robert and Kenneth.Funeral Services will be 10 am Friday, April 2, 2010 at Marantha Church of God in Davenport, Iowa, with visitation one hour prior to service at the church.
