Lenora Couchman's Obituary
Lizzie Lenora (Dixon) Couchman, 91 passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2026.
Lenora was born on September 28, 1934 to Fay and Iva Anna (McGee) Dixon in Exline, IA.
Lenora married her best friend Charles Seldon Couchman on March 27, 1957 and to this union they welcomed their children, Grace Ann, Gerald and Jeanette. Lenora was a loving farm wife and mother. She helped Seldon around their farm for many years.
She enjoyed gardening, taking care of the chickens, crocheting, cooking, baking, patching blue jeans, taking walks and listening to country music, especially Loretta Lynn.
Lenora is survived by her children, Grace Ann (Randy) Roe, Gerald (Chris) Couchman, Jeanette (Randy) Brown; grandchildren, Andy (Bobbie Sue) Roe, Matt (Sierra) Roe, Corey Brown, Scott (Katie) Brown; step grandchildren, Angela Stanford, John Stanford; great-grandchildren, Landen, Bensen, Dakota, Sawyer and August Roe, Issac, Sammy and Mia Brown along with numerous extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Seldon Couchman; her parents; great-grandson, Harrison Roe and sister, Fern (Wilbur) Rupalo.
Funeral Services for Lenora will be held Monday, March 16, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Thomas Funeral Home in Corydon, Iowa with interment to immediately follow at Shriver Cemetery. Visitation will be held an hour prior from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
