Linda Vanderheyden's Obituary
Linda Kay (Ayers) Vanderheyden, age 70, of Centerville, Iowa died Wednesday afternoon, March 25, 2015 at the home of her daughter in Smyrna, Tennessee.
Linda was born November 23, 1944 in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of Harold G. and Mollie (Bertelli) Ayers. She was united in marriage to Raymond Vanderheyden on July 9, 1960.
Linda worked for Easter's Super Value, Pamida Stores and Wells Manufacturing all in Centerville, Iowa.
She is survived by her daughter Debby (Ross) Faught of Smyrna, Tennessee; two sons, Dennis (Mary) Vanderheyden of Mystic Iowa and Danny Vanderheyden of Centerville; three grandchildren, Ross Vanderheyden of Centerville; Delaney & Raegan Faught of Smyrna, Tennessee and; two great-grandson; Reed Vanderheyden and Chance Cook, both of Centerville; two sisters, Janice (Ronnie) Hamlin and Margret Ponsetto both of Centerville and two brothers, Steve (Jean) Ayers of Centerville and Doug (Debi) Ayer of Burlington Iowa. And many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Vanderheyden; and her parents, Harold and Mollie (Bertelli) Ayers. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville with Pastor Gerald Campbell officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday at Lange Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the Family of Linda Vanderheyden and may be given to Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
