Linda Joan Perkins' Obituary
Linda Lou Joan Perkins, daughter of Ralph Theodore and Audrey Joan (Redmond) Hulse, was born March 19, 1955 in Port Jefferson, New York and passed away at the Wayne County Hospital in Corydon on January 31, 2013. Linda graduated from Center Moriches High School in 1973 and completed the Boces Dental Assistants Program. She began her career at the Oral Surgeons Office in Patchogue Long Island, New York in 1975. On July 28, 1979 she was united in marriage to Wesley Dean Perkins and to this union two children were born: son Cheyne Wesley on October 26, 1980 and daughter Sheena Rae on October 9, 1983. After her marriage, Linda worked at the Wayne County Hospital from 1979 to 1980 and the Wayne Elementary School as a teacher's aid from 1989 until 1992. In 1992 she resumed her career as a certified dental assistant and worked at Prairie Trails Dental Care until 2012. Linda enjoyed crafts, knitting, yard sales, gardening, photography, and shopping. Her greatest enjoyment was her family and the time they spent together. Her father, Ralph Theodore Hulse, preceded her in death. Her memory will be cherished by her husband Wesley Perkins, son Cheyne Perkins and wife Aimee, daughter Sheena Robinson and husband Zach, her grandchildren Erin Marquis, Jocelyn Marquis, Kenzie Robinson, Ashtyn Robinson and Hesston Robinson. Other survivors include her mother Joan Hulse, mother-in-law Wally Perkins, father-in-law Shannon Perkins, brother-in-law Gordon Perkins and wife Lisa and their son Nicholas and his wife Chrissy and daughter Natalie and brother-in-law Raymond Perkins and wife Jackie and their daughter Raegan.
