Linda McLaughlin's Obituary
Linda Diane McLaughlin, 63, of Powersville, Missouri passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 at Wayne County Hospital.
Linda was born on March 13, 1952 to Guy & Wilma (Hostetter) Todd in Milan, Missouri. She received her education from Newtown-Harris Schools. On August 23, 1969, Linda was united in marriage to Kenny McLaughlin. To this union were two children, Donnie and Shelly.
Linda was employed by Wayne County Hospital as a Ward Clerk for 25 plus years. She was a devoted wife and mother to her family. In her free time, she enjoyed playing cards with her family during gatherings. She also enjoyed going to casinos and eating crab legs. Linda’s family always looked forward to her Sunday fried chicken dinners and spending time together on holidays. Linda was always up for a good laugh, on Halloween she enjoyed dressing up and scaring the kids.
Survivors include her husband Kenny McLaughlin of Powersville, Mo., two children: Donnie McLaughlin (Michelle) of Princeton, Mo., Shelly Murphy (Craig) of Powersville, Mo., four grandchildren: Amber & Amy McLaughlin of Unionville, Mo., Bryce & Kelsey Murphy of Powersville, Mo., brother, J.C. Todd (JoAnn) of Andover, Illinois and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings: Shirley Howell, Larry Todd, Dickie Todd and Waynetta Rogers.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Thomas-Randolph Funeral Home in Corydon with Rev. Doug Fairley officiating. Interment will follow immediately after at Powersville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at Thomas-Randolph Funeral Home.
