Linda Kay Clark's Obituary
Linda Kay Clark, age 72, of Centerville, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at MercyOne Medical Center in Centerville.
Linda was born on April 26, 1948 in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of Nick and Erma (Susin) Grenko. She graduated from Centerville High School with the Class of 1966. Linda continued her education, graduating from Indian Hills Community College and from Buena Vista University with her Bachelors Degree in Education.
Linda worked for Premium Standard Farms for 20 years, retiring as the Barn Manager. Throughout her life, she also spent her spare time working on the family farm taking care of the chickens and feeding the calves. Most recently, Linda enjoyed working every Friday at the Bargain Barn in Unionville, Missouri.
Linda was always there to lend a helping hand or assist others in need. She enjoyed gardening, canning and tending to flowers. Linda was a long-time member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Unionville, Missouri, and later became a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Centerville.
Left to cherish Lindas memory are her son, Cory Clark of Springfield, Missouri; siblings, Diane (Randy) Brittain of Mystic, Rick Grenko of Numa, Angie (Phil) Bruno of Port Byron, Illinois, Sue (Mike) Whitmore of Henderson, Kentucky, and Ed (Janice) Grenko of Numa; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Nick and Erma Grenko; and a brother, John Grenko.
Funeral services will be held 11AM, Friday, December 31, 2021 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville with Fr. Timothy Armbruster officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Numa Cemetery. Visitation will take place Friday, December 31, 2021 at Lange Funeral Home in Centerville, with the family greeting friends from 10-11AM.
