Lillian Virgina Elliott's Obituary
Lillian Virginia (Tingley) Elliott, age 85, of Unionville, Missouri passed away on January 23, 2026 at the Putnam County Memorial Hospital.
Lillian was born on April 10, 1940 in Unionville, Missouri, the daughter of Chancie and Zeltha (Fitzwater) Tingley. She attended schools in Unionville, Missouri. Lillian was married to Leroy Elliott in Unionville, Missouri, on May 14, 1958. He preceded her in death on December 21, 2017.
Any time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren, were Lillians most cherished moments. Her nieces and nephews would refer to her as "Aunt Jen" and a few claimed she was their favorite aunt. She enjoyed cats and listening to country music. Lillian was very passionate about donating to as many charities as she could, she was a kind soul who loved helping when she could.
Lillian is survived by a son, Chancie Elliott; a brother, Clinton "Butch" Tingley; grandchildren, Faith Elliott, Jeremy Elliott, Jenny Elliott, James "Rudy" Frazier- Elliott (Aaryn), and Marquetta Johnson; great grandchildren, Christopher Hayden, Erica McCoy (Damien), Axel Robbins, Morrigan Frazier- Elliott, and Sebastian Frazier-Elliott, along with other extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leroy; sister, Clara Johnson; Granddaughter, Joni Elliott; and nephew, Larry Tingley.
Funeral service will be 2:00PM, Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Thomas Funeral Home in Unionville. Interment will immediately follow at the Unionville Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior, from 1:00PM - 2:00PM, Wednesday, January 28, 2026.
