Letha F. Hinote, age 87, of Unionville, Iowa, died Wednesday, December 15, 2004, at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville, Iowa. She was born the daughter of the late Jessy and Maude (Bell) Carter on October 8, 1917 in Oakville, Iowa. She graduated from Oakville High School in Oakville, Iowa.On August 23, 1936, Letha was united in marriage to Emmett Wayne Hinote in Monmouth, Illinois. Letha worked at JCPenney and was also a homemaker. She was a member of the Unionville Methodist Church in Unionville, Iowa.Letha was preceded in death by: her parents; husband Wayne Hinote on December 13, 2003; daughter, Barbara Curtis; and five sisters.She is survived by her son, Jerry Hinote, and his wife Trudy of Unionville, Iowa; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.No services are planned at this time as the body has been cremated.Arrangements were handled by To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Letha F.
