Lester Eugene Morrow's Obituary
Lester Eugene Morrow, age 86, of Centerville, Iowa, died Sunday, August 24, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. He was born the son of Sidney and Mamie (Allen) Morrow on January 31, 1922 near Chariton, Missouri. He attended Wells School District in Liberty Township in rural Appanoose County.On December 7, 1963, Lester was united in marriage to Gwendola 'Ruth' Sigler in Cincinnati, Iowa. He was a farmer all his life in Appanoose County.He was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Gwendola 'Ruth' Morrow on May 5, 1994; brothers, Claude and Glenn Morrow; sisters, Zepher Stansberry on March 13, 1994 and Betty Bogle.Lester is survived by: his sons, Quintin Morrow of Leighton, Iowa and Garland Morrow of Tempe, Arizona; sisters, Grace Spurgeon of Centerville, Iowa, Mary Isarel of Ames, Iowa and Letha Crawford of Centerville, Iowa; and a brother, Jack Morrow of Unionville, Missouri.Graveside Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 10 am at the Sunset View Cemetery north of Moulton, Iowa. Family will gather at 9 am at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa for a procession to the Sunset View Cemetery.Memorials can be made to the family and left at the funeral home.
