Hot Rod was a kind, caring man that will be missed by all. He shared many fishing tips & hot spots with Rick. Rick told me that he knew there were many more things he never got a chance to get from him. GUess a good fisherman never reveals all.. We will miss him. You are in our thoughts & prayers. My memories of Lee VanBlaricom come from my childhood as a 4-H member. Lee and my dad were horse project leaders together for several years and those were the best years! I can remember Lee laughing during the fun shows at the county fair and always being there with a kind word and a hug. I'll never forget the show in Eldon when Lee had to help get me into my English riding outfit when it was 102 degrees! What a great time and a great friend. My best memory of him is that he had caught a coyote in a trap. He brought it to the door and knocked. When I came to the door he was holding the coyote up and that was all I could see. Scared the daylights out of me. The flathead should feel a little safer now. Lee was alot of fun and the thing I will miss the most is his laugh. I will never forget that laugh.
