Lenore Carr's Obituary
Lenore Carr, 87, passed away Oct. 19, 2007 at her home with family by her side. Lenore was born Nov. 10, 1919 to Samuel and Mary Barkley in Cincinnati. She was a member of the Eastern Star, and enjoyed working in her flower garden, watching animals and reading mystery novels. Lenore is survived by her son, David (Sachiko) Carr of Des Moines and sister, Margaret Johnson of Bloomfield. She is preceded in death by her husband Louis, parents; sister, Eileen Swarts; and brother, George Barkley.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 22, at Ankeny Funeral Home.
