Larry Gene Tosone, Sr., age 75, of Centerville, Iowa, died Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. He was born the son of Dovilia Tosone on January 24, 1937 in Centerville, Iowa. He graduated from the Centerville Community High School in 1955.He was a retired Machinist for Union Carbide in Centerville. He earlier worked for Button Factory, the Box Factory, Wagner's Shop and Wagner's Produce delivering eggs to the south. In 1982, Larry met Michael D. Cornett Robinson and they were later married on September 19, 1995 in Centerville, Iowa. He was a member of the Appanoose County Shooting Club, NRA and loved riding his Harley, working on cars and playing his guitar.He is preceded in death by: his mother, Dovilia Tosone; his aunt, Dora Tosone; grandparents, Rocco and Angelina Tosone.Larry is survived by: his wife, Michael Tosone of Centerville, Iowa; Larry Tosone, Jr of Centerville, Iowa and a step-son, Kelley Wayne Robinson and his wife, Jolene of Centerville, Iowa; two step-grandchildren, Ashlyn and Clayton Robinson both of Centerville, Iowa.
