Larry Carter, 50 of Exline died Sunday, December 27, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. Larry was born to Harvey & Betty Carter on January 25, 1959 in Humeston, Iowa. He enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting and the outdoors. Larry is survived by a son Lee Carter of Centerville, three grandchildren, Sadie Mathes, Makayla Carter, Isiah Bunny of Centerville, mother, Betty Parks of Derby, Iowa, step daughter, Amber Lester of Centerville, three brothers, Melvin Jones of Indianola, Ronnie Wright of Garden Grove, Ia, Ricky Wright of Affon, Missouri, four sisters, Patty Dothagher of Centralia, Missouri, Judy Johnson of Decatur, Iowa, Kim Carter of Eagle Grove, Missouri and a special friend Cheryl Watts of Centerville. He was preceded in death by his father Harvey Carter, grandparents, Jim & Grace Carter and Lilly Soper and Marvin Jones, two nephews Billy Richards and Jimmy Richards and a great niece Ashley Richards. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Thomas Funeral Home.
