Larry T. Stevens, 56 of Washington formerly of Centerville passed away Tuesday, February 26th at Golden Age Care Center. Larry was born in Centerville on November 15, 1951 to Elmer & Ada (Marvin) Stevens. He graduated from Centerville High School in 1969. After graduation Larry became a millwright and carpenter union member. He enjoyed astrology, carpentry, classical music, bird watching and spending time with his friends and family Larry is survived by two daughters; Heather Huebner(Barry) of Exline, Holly Stevens and her fiancï¿ Larry Givens of Indianola, six grandchildren; Shayla Weston, Kelsey, Austin and, Kendra Huebner all of Exline and Carlyann and Cassie Stevens of Indianola. He is also survived by three sisters; Dolly Buckallew of Centerville, Evelyn Lindley Lazelle) of Moulton, Melva Furnald (Tim) of Seymour, two brothers; Jim Stevens(Nancy) of Centerville, Jack Stevens of Cincinnati and many nieces nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Geneva 'Tootsie' Fry, brother-in-law, Don Buckallew, uncle, Elmer Marvin, nephew, Mark Inman, niece Kim Inman, and great nephew, Russell Lindley. His sense of humor and kindness will forever be in our hearts. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 1st at Thomas Funeral Home. Visitation will be all day Friday with the family present from 6-8 p.m. Memorials may be given to the family which may be left at or mailed to Thomas Funeral Home - 23548 Hwy 5 - Centerville, Ia 52544.
