Larry Lee Ewing's Obituary
Larry Ewing, age 90, of Cincinnati, Iowa, passed away at the Putnam County Care Center on August 1, 2025.
Larry was born to Claude Sr. and Carrie (Jones) Ewing on November 8, 1934. He was married to Joann Fuller on February 12, 1955. To this marriage one son, Gary, was born.
Larry farmed his whole life in the Cincinnati area. He was known for his cow/calf operation. Larry was a 4-H leader, Township Trustee and a member of the FMHA board.
Larry is survived by his wife, Joann; son, Gary (Diana); grandsons, Brad (Amanda) and Brent (Katie); and great grandson, Austen.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Claude Sr. and Carrie Ewing; siblings, Ermal, Ardyth, Claude Jr. (Buster), John and Don; and one great granddaughter, Addisyn.
Funeral services for Larry will be held at 1:00PM, Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville. Burial will follow the service at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Cincinnati. Visitation will take place, Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville with the family greeting friends from 11:00AM-1:00PM.
