Larry "Tiny" Cormeny's Obituary
Larry "Tiny" Cormeny, 57, of Moravia passed away Monday, October 20, 2014 near Moravia. Tiny was born to Robert & Mavis (Hatfield) Cormeny on June 12, 1957 in Centerville. He received his education from Centerville Schools graduating in 1975. On June 12, 1982, Tiny was united in marriage to Carla Wray. They were blessed with two girls, Allison and Amber. Tiny was a farmer and was employed by Milani Farms for 30 years. He enjoyed farming and working with outdoors with his hands. Tiny enjoyed people and spending time with them. He made his daily rounds in the morning to stop and talk to friends at Bratz Shell, McCarthy Tire Services and on occasion at Hardees. Tiny didn't know a stranger and liked teasing people just to get a reaction. He and Carla enjoyed going to the Casino. Tiny was a wheeler dealer, always putting a deal together. He readily helped people, answering simply with, "I'll fix ya up"â?¦..Tiny Cormeny will be missed by many family and friends. Survivors include his wife Carla Cormeny of Moravia, two daughters: Allison Beaty (Billy) of Moravia, Amber Clark (Cory) of Centerville, granddaughter, Lillian Beaty of Moravia, mother, Mavis Cormeny of Centerville, two brothers: Boyd Cormeny (Bev) of Gillette, Wyoming, Joe Cormeny of Hills, Iowa and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Cormeny, sister, Ronda Foster, two infant siblings: Steven and Debra Cormeny, grandparents and his mother-in-law, Gail Wray. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Thomas Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Schweizer officiating. Interment will be in Main Station Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Friday, October 24, 2014 at Thomas Funeral Home. Memorials may be given to the family and condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com.
