Kyle Lamb's Obituary
Kyle Lamb, age 72, of Moulton, Iowa, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville.
He was born on February 13, 1945 in Centerville, Iowa, the son of Hollan Edward and Iladene (Kirby) Lamb. Kyle graduated in 1963 from Moulton Udell High School.
Kyle was united in marriage to Karen Struckman on April 13, 1968 and to this union of marriage, they were blessed with two children, Leslie and Jay.
In 1973 Kyle accepted a job with Cosby's Implement Dealership in Moulton as a mechanic. He worked as a mechanic for several implement dealerships throughout the years. In 1990 Kyle became the service manager at the Centerville-Bloomfield John Deere Implement Dealership in Bloomfield. He maintained this position until his retirement in 2009 at the age of 64.
In his retirement, Kyle enjoyed many hobbies, restoring classic John Deere tractors, lawn mower repair, computer repair, and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of forty eight years, Karen Lamb of Moulton; two children, Leslie Lamb of Milo and Jay (Jessica) Lamb of New Virginia; five grandchildren, Lois, Kylene, Zachary, Cole, and Jared; two brothers, Jack (Becky) Lamb of Popular Grove, Illinois and Everett (Diana) Lamb of Davenport, Iowa; a sister, Maxine (Charles) Stewart of Des Moines; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Kyle was preceded in death by his parents; along with several other family members.
According to Mr. Lamb's wishes, cremation has been accorded. A Celebration of Life Service will take place from 2-4 PM, Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville, Iowa. Memorials have been established to the Moulton First Responders and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
