Kimberly Ann Gaylord's Obituary
Kimberly Ann Gaylord, 61, of Centerville, Iowa went to be with the lord on July 16, 2024.
She was born on March 1, 1963 in Des Moines, Iowa to Peggy Rosenbaum and George Grover Sr. She was baptized at an early age, and remained a very firm believer of God even up to the day he called her home. She never doubted her faith, and her faith was always bigger than her fear.
Kim was a very loveable woman who wasn't afraid to say what was on her mind. She had many friends growing up. She graduated from Des Moines Tech High School with the Class of 1981.
Throughout her life, Kim had some miscellaneous jobs, but her last one was at CDS in Des Moines, Iowa. Kim enjoyed bowling throughout her life. She loved to crochet and made blankets. She loved watching racing; her favorite driver was Jeff Gordon. She also enjoyed time with her family and friends. Kim made friends everywhere she went.
Later in life she started enjoying football more, including the Minnesota Vikings. She enjoyed watching TV. Some of her favorite shows were Little House on the Prairie, The Waltons, Family Feud, the Bold and the Beautiful, and Bonanza.
Kim was survived by stepfather Robert Rosenbaum; son, Michael (Brittany) Sutton; daughter, Amanda Sutton-Leach; grandchildren, Lanie Sutton, Bella Sutton, Paisley Kessler, and Knox Sutton and brother George (Chris) Grover, along with many other family members who loved and cherished her.
She was preceded in death by her mother Peggy Rosenbaum; sister, Susan Scanlan, and father George Grover Sr., along with many other very loved and missed family members who welcomed her home.
