Kevin Whisler's Obituary
Kevin Mark Whisler, 65 of Centerville, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2020 at University of Missouri Health Care in Columbia, Missouri. Kevin was born on July 9, 1955 to Don and Leora (Davis) Whisler in Centerville. He received his education from Centerville High School, graduating in 1974. Kevin was united in marriage to Marsha Thomas on February 10, 1979. Kevin worked for the City of Centerville for 20 years. He would later become a truck driver. Kevin enjoyed riding his motorcycle, spending time at the coffee shops, time with his grandchildren and riding his bicycle. Survivors include four children: Mark Whisler (Meggie Blozovich), Matt Whisler, Mike Whisler (Megan Campbell), Jill Whisler (Eli Grove), grandchildren: James, Nola, Charlotte, Maxton, Kase, Raeleigh, siblings: Connie Stephens (Pat), Clifford Whisler, Delbert Whisler (Pam), Jerry Whisler (Cathy) and numerous extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents and a niece, Nicole Whisler. A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 1-3 PM. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Centerville Mat Club and condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com or facebook.com/thomasfuneralhome.
