Kevin Christian's Obituary
Kevin Christian
Kevin Lloyd Christian, 62, of Unionville, MO passed away peacefully on his family farmstead on July 17, 2026.
Kevin Christian was born on August 8th, 1963, in Unionville, MO. He is the son of Gerald and Pauline Christian. They lived in Illinois briefly until they moved to Trenton, MO, before returning to the family's "Century Farm" when Kevin was still in elementary school. Kevin had deep faith; He was saved and baptized as a teenager before graduating from Unionville High School in 1982. Shortly after graduating, Kevin became an owner/operator of his own trucking company for several years, and then worked at Premium Standard Farms, where he drove a feed truck until he began working at MODOT. Kevin retired from MODOT after 18 years of service but also farmed on the side his whole life. His only and favorite hobby was simply farming. Kevin was proud that his family first purchased the farm in 1880. Another proud moment for Kevin was when he married the love of his life, Kim; They had spent 30 precious years together. Kevin always wanted to be at his homestead spending time with his grand babies because it was his happy place.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Kim of the home and three sons, Michael Robbins and wife Alyssa of Edina, MO; Joshua Miller and wife Lyric of Clinton, MO; and Kameran Christian and wife Kennedy of Unionville, MO. Kevin's surviving grandchildren are Hudson Robbins, Hayden Robbins, Everley Miller, Asher Miller, Koda Christian, and Kayson Christian. Kevin is also survived by a sister, Trudie (Mark) Trent of Kirksville, MO; brother-in-laws, Rick (Paula) Robbins and Ron (Diane) Robbins; mother-in-law Sharon Robbins all of Unionville, MO; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Roy Lee Robbins.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Unionville. Visitation will take place one hour prior, from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Burial will follow at the Pherigo Cemetery.
