Kenneth A. Watts' Obituary
Kenneth Watts, age 67 of Centerville, Iowa died Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville.
Kenneth was born June 14, 1940, the son of Harry and Delsie (Tracy) Watts in Mystic, Iowa. He married Dianne Fletcher on September 25, 1959 in Rock Island, Illinois. Kenneth worked as a welder for over thirty years. He spent most of his working career in the welding field on the Rock Island Lines Railroad. Kenneth loved military history, especially the military programs that he watched on the History Channel. He loved to fish and spend time with his grandchildren.
Kenneth is survived by seven children, Allen (Linda) Acker of Caledonia, Minnesota, Kenny (Kathy) Watts Jr. of East Moline, Illinois, Kevin (Diana) Watts of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Kraig (Deb) Watts of Belle Plaine, Minnesota, Tonya (Barry) Clinkenbeard of Cincinnati, Iowa, Kurtis (Lynette) Watts of Centerville, Iowa, and Tara (James) Hermon of Centerville, Iowa; twenty eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one sister Georgine Foster of Centerville, Iowa.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; a son Danny Fletcher; and a sister Beulah ""Bud"" Jones.
A funeral service will be held 2PM, Saturday, May 17, 2008 at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home in Centerville with Pastor Gerald Campbell officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 12 PM- 8 PM, with the family present from 6-8 PM that evening. A private burial will be held at a later date. A memorial has been established to the Family and may be left at or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
