Kenneth Ray Nickell's Obituary
Kenneth Ray Nickell, 64 of Humeston, passed away on January 6, 2022.
Kenneth was born on September 6, 1957 to Jay and Dorothy (Lawyer) Nickell in Kansas City, Kansas. Later, the family would move to Iowa where Kenneth graduated from Lineville High School with the class of 1976.
Kenneth worked for MFA for 30 years. After his retirement, he went on to work for the Sale Barn in Humeston. Kenneth received the award for Land Applicator of the Year in 2017. He loved to play pool and was a member of the Men's Softball League in Lineville. Kenneth was known to be a man of very few words, but the first one to lend a helping hand when someone needed it.
Kenneth is survived by his son Kyle Nickell (Jen), three brothers Mike Nickell (Dana), Keith Nickell (Karla), David Nickell (Jenny), sister Dana Widner, two granddaughters Tayler Nickell and Zoey Miller, and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Jay and Dorothy Nickell, brothers Dennis Nickell and Kevin Nickell and a brother-in-law Gregg Widner.
