Kenneth N. Larue's Obituary
Kenneth N. LaRue, age 76 formerly of Omaha, Missouri, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2007 at the Veterans Home in Cameron, Missouri.
Kenneth was born January 23, 1931, the son of George E. (Elvin) and Winnie (Deahl) LaRue in Putnam County. He attended Livonia School and graduated with the Class of 1949. Kenneth was a lifelong farmer in Omaha and an Army Veteran with the Heavy Artillery Anti Aircraft Brigade. He enjoyed hunting with his dogs and loved to deer hunt. He attended church in Exline.
Kenneth is survived by a brother, Loyd (Joyce) LaRue of Omaha, Missouri; nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marie LaRue.
Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, July 16, 2007 at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, Centerville, Iowa with Pastor Howard Luscan officiating. Burial will follow at the Shoney Cemetery in Omaha, Missouri. A visitation will be held from noon on Sunday at the funeral home with family present from 6-8 PM. A memorial has been established in lieu of flowers and may be left at or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa 52544.
