Kenetha Marlene McGraw's Obituary
Kenetha Marlene McGraw, daughter of Kenneth Miles and Nadine McKee Swan was born November 16, 1954 in Chariton Iowa and passed away peacefully at her home from complications due to respiratory illness on August 22, 2015 at the age of 60 years 9 months and 6 days. She was united in marriage to Michael James McGraw on May 10, 1986 and they were the parents of three sons, Eric Michael, Brian Miles and Corey James. She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Nadine Swan,grandmother Inabelle McKee, grandparents, Cor and Myrle Swan and , uncle Sonny McKee, aunt Eileen Couchman and mother-in-law, Opal McGraw. Kenetha is survived by her husband Michael James McGraw of Allerton, IA, three sons, Eric Michael McGraw of Allerton, IA, Brian Miles McGraw (Barbara) of Hendersonville, TN, Corey James McGraw of Corydon, IA, her brother Kendell M. Swan of Sewal, IA, five grandchildren, Mikayla Nadine and Addison Joy McGraw of Hendersonville, TN, Colby Kenneth McGraw of Great Falls, MT, Cameron Anthony and Jax Owen McGraw of Corydon, IA, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends. Kenetha enjoyed spending time with and doing things for her entire family, though the four lovebugs had her wrapped around their fingers. She recently wrote "I love my grandkids more than life itself and would do just about anything for them". She also enjoyed a good thunderstorm and working around the house and was known as the Queen of Clean. Kenetha had great respect for family and was very proud of being able to provide care for both of her parents as they aged. As well as being a very loving wife, mother and grandmother, she was able to run her nail salon and help Mike manage multiple rental properties and the trucking company. Kenetha was also able to take a final family vacation to her favorite destination, Orange Beach, AL in July with her family.
