Keneth Dale Galbreath's Obituary
Keneth Dale Galbreath, 64 passed away at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa on November 24, 2025.
Ken was born on September 26, 1961 in Inglewood, CA to Dale and Marilyn (Lewis) Galbreath (Reinhart). They then moved to Iowa where he attended Wayne High School and graduated with the class of 1979.
Ken married Mary Clow on October 20, 1984 and to this union they welcomed their two beautiful daughters, Jessica and Sarah. They made their home in Sewal, where he opened his own auto parts store.
Ken really enjoyed working in the auto services industry. He learned the trade at a young age working alongside his father in their gas station in California. Ken really enjoyed visiting with people that came to his shop in Sewal. As the shop business slowed down, Ken became a truck driver for several years. Later on in the years he became passionate about farming and raising cattle alongside his stepdad Dale Reinhart and mother in Plano. Ken then began raising cattle on his farm in Sewal with his family.
Ken's proudest title was grandpa to his beautiful granddaughter Madelyn. He enjoyed dancing and being silly with Madelyn. They had their nightly tradition of him kissing her on the head goodnight.
Ken will be greatly missed by “his girls” as he called them, being his wife, daughters and granddaughter. He will also be missed by his mother, family, friends and neighbors.
Ken is survived by his wife Mary; daughters, Jessica Galbreath, Sarah Galbreath; granddaughter, Madelyn Galbreath; mother, Marilyn Reinhart; brothers-in-law's, Jerry (Jennie) Clow and Gary (Gail) Clow along with numerous extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Galbreath; step-father, Dale Reinhart and his in-law's, Harry and Dorothy Clow.
