Keith Duane Smith's Obituary
Keith Duane Smith, age 60, of Moulton, Iowa, died Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. He was born the son of Paul and Eudora (Bailey) Smith on June 8, 1946 in Centerville, Iowa. He received his education in the Moulton Community Schools.On April 21, 1967, Keith was united in marriage to Karen Wright in Lancaster, Missouri. He worked for many years at Hormel Packing Plant in Ottumwa, Iowa.He was preceded in death by his parents.Keith is survived by: his wife, Karen Smith of Moulton, Iowa; son, Kelly Smith and his wife, Shelly of Moulton, Iowa; daughter, Shelbe Hill of Moulton, Iowa; step-son, Jon Stansberry and his wife, Shelly of Moulton, Iowa; step-daughter, Susan Fitzgerald of Moulton, Iowa; Twelve grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; brothers, Ronald Smith of Moravia, Iowa, Donald Smith of Blakesburg, Iowa, James Smith of Unionville, Iowa and Roger Smith of Oskaloosa, Iowa; sisters, Kathy Young of Mystic, Iowa, Dianna Herman of Bryon, Illinois and Janet Daniels of Udell, Iowa.Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 1, 2006 at 10 am at the Moulton Christian Church in Moulton, Iowa with Rev. Reg Higginbottom officiating. Burial will follow at the Sunset View Cemetery north of Moulton, Iowa.
