Keith D. Adams' Obituary
Keith D. Adams, age 53, of Moulton, Iowa, formerly of Davenport, Iowa, died Saturday, June 19, 2004, at Kavanaugh House in Des Moines, Iowa of a cancer related illness. He was born the son of Elmer and Frances (Stull) Adams on August 10, 1950 in Davenport, Iowa. He graduated from Davenport West High School in Davenport, Iowa.Keith met his beloved companion, Sandra Gardner, in Davenport, Iowa in September of 1987. He was employed as a lift operator at Well's Manufacturing in Centerville, Iowa. He enjoyed fishing and the beauty of Iowa's farm country.Keith was preceded in death by: his parents; and a son, Marcus Wayne Adams.He is survived by: his wife, Sandra Gardner Adams of Moulton, Iowa; three step-daughters, Julie Carillo and her husband Manny of Davenport, Iowa, Cathy Johnstone of Davenport, Iowa, and Paula Flores and her husband Robert of Ft. Riley, Kansas; two brothers, Gary J. Adams of Davenport, Iowa and Sterling W. Adams of Bettendorf, Iowa; two sisters, Karen L. Brentise and DeeAnn Paasch, both of Davenport, Iowa; seven step-grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at 10:00 AM at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home, 311 East Broadway, Moulton, Iowa with Chaplain Susan Leathem officiating. Burial will follow at the Sunset View Cemetery, north of Moulton, Iowa. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 22, 2004 from 2:00 PM til 8:00 PM at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Moulton, Iowa. Visitation with the family present will be from 6:00 PM til 8:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.Memorials can be made either to the Hospice of Central Iowa, Centerville, Iowa or to Garrett Memorial Library, Moulton, Iowa and can be left at the funeral home in Moulton during the services or can be left at or mailed to To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Keith D.
