Kay E Trimble's Obituary
Kay E. Trimble, 94, of Corydon, passed away November 12, 2024 at the Wayne County Hospital surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born September 13, 1930 in Woodruff, Wisconsin, to Charles and Virginia (Fry) Hutchison.
Kay graduated from Earlham High School in 1948 and was a member of the women's basketball team all throughout high school.
She married Wayne Trimble on October 6, 1949 and to this union three children were born, Gary Wayne, Vickie Lynn and Greg Ray. Kay was very devoted to loving and caring for her husband and children.
Kay and Wayne moved to Corydon in 1954. Once her and Wayne got settled in Corydon, Kay took a job in the kitchen at the high school. She worked in the kitchen for 31 years. Kay also a member of the Corydon Bible Church for over 60 years.
Survivors include her children, Gary Trimble (Jo Beth), Vickie Trimble, Greg Trimble, grandchildren Laura, Sara, Amanda, Robert and Kami, 10 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and numerous extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne, parents, sister, Alice Stocking, brothers, Charles, Earl and John Hutchison and grandson, Matthew Selby.
Graveside Service for Kay will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Corydon Cemetery in Corydon, Iowa.
