Kathleen 'Kathy' Rinehart, age 48 of Centerville, Iowa, died on Thursday, September 21, 2006 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa. She was born the daughter of Harry and Estel (Watts) Norton on March 21, 1958 in Bellingham, Washington. On July 21, 1979, Kathy was united in marriage to Ken Rinehart in Pendleton, Oregon. She worked for Hospice of Central Iowa as a Nurses Aid for several years.She is preceded in death by: her parents; son, Travis Rinehart; and a sister, Beth.Kathy is survived by: her husband of 27 years, Ken Rinehart of Centerville, Iowa; son, Jason Lee Rinehart and his wife, Ashly of San Diego, California; daughter, Jaime Lynn Mauldin and her husband, Robert of Corydon, Iowa; brothers, Weldon Norton of California and Bill Norton of Pendleton, Oregon; sister, Judy Palmer of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and four grandchildren.Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, September Funeral services will be held on September 26, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa, with Bill Iammatteo'Code officiating.
