Katherine M. (Morris) Bixler, age 88, of Centerville, IA, died Friday, November 11, 2005, at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville, Iowa. She was born the daughter of Pete and Augusta (Blazina) Morris on September 5, 1917. She received her education from the Centerville Community School System.Katherine just recently moved here from Santa Barbara, California. She worked as a waitress in several restaurants for many, many years in Santa Barbara.Katherine was preceded in death by: her parents and her brother, Phillip Morris.She is survived by: her two sisters Elizabeth Buban and Pauline Deininger, and two brothers Vincent and Tom Morris.Her body has been cremated and there are no services planned at this time.
