Karen Sue Seddon's Obituary
Karen Sue Seddon, 61, of Moulton passed away on February 11, 2022 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
Karen was born to Robert and Donna Conger on July 26, 1960 in Centerville, Iowa. Karen attended Centerville High School. She went on to work as a compliance manager for Flywheel Trucking. Karen was united in marriage to Tom Seddon on September 2, 1977 in Putnam County and to this union came four children; Sarah, Lora, Charlie and Matthew.
Karen was very passionate about The New Hope Ministry and accepted Jesus as her Savior. She loved photography, painting nature scenes and gardening. She looked forward to camping every summer with her family. You could often find her spending time with her family and grandchildren whom she adored.
Survivors include her husband: Tom Seddon, children: Sarah Jones (Chris), Lora Lyons (Jim), Charlie Seddon (Rachel), Matthew Seddon (Angie), her grandchildren: Abby, Lindsay, Mia and Morgan Jones, Seth and Levi Lyons, Briggs and Colter Seddon, brothers: Robert Conger (Kerry) and Richard Conger (Jamie) and John West. Karen is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lisa Van Blaricome.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 10:00AM-7:00PM, with family from 5:00PM-7:00PM at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to New Hope Ministry and condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com or facebook.com/thomasfuneralhome.
