Judy Ann McGrann's Obituary
Judy Ann McGrann, 77 of Mystic, Iowa passed away at her home on March 25, 2026.
Judy was born on May 5, 1948 in Centerville, Iowa to John and Helen (Poli) McGrann. She attended Masters School one room schoolhouse in Mystic and Centerville High School.
Throughout her life, Judy held many positions, mother and grandmother being most important. She was also the local friendly face you would see at the Coal Miner's Inn in Mystic. She owned and operated that bar for thirty years before retiring to be at home. Judy enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, going on walks. She was known for her beautiful gardens and flowers.
Judy is survived by her children, Terri McKay, Johnathan (Janesa) Firth, Terry Firth, Tess Cochran, Tania Cochran (Lambert Hutchison) and Stephanie McDaniel; grandchildren, Johnathan Firth, James Firth, Jerrad Firth, Fisher Firth, Macie-may, Sydney Callen, Blake Callen, Taylen Shanahan, Treyton Shananhan, Loger McDaniel, Leighla McDaniel and Layton McDaniel; great-grandchildren, T.J., Autumn, Sawyer, Raegan, Ruger, Braxton, Jentry, Jensen; grand dog, Oakley; sister, Marjorie "Muggy" (Derrill) Pfannebacker along with several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, John McGrann, William "Billy Bob" McGrann, Max McGrann, Wilma "Bum" McGrann, Nelma McGrann and baby sister Patty Lee.
Graveside services for Judy will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 11:00am at Highland Cemetery in Mystic, IA.
