Judith A. Roby's Obituary
Judith Ann Roby, age 69, of Mystic, Iowa, died Sunday, November 14, 2010, at her home in Mystic. She was born the daughter of Elmer and Lucille (Morelock) Stevens on December 2, 1940 in Newton, Iowa. She graduated from the Centerville Community Schools in Centerville in 1959.On June 5, 1971, she was united in marriage to John Roby in Centerville, Iowa. She worked for many years at Toastmasters in Centerville. Judith was preceded in death by: her parents; and a son, Jeff Booth. She is survived by: her husband, John Roby of Mystic, Iowa; sons, Tracy Booth of Queen Creek, Arizona and Justin Roby and his wife, Lisa of Danville, Iowa; step-daughters, Dianna Leef and her husband, Pete of Moline, Illinois, Annie Quinn and her husband, Stewart and Hidi Link and her husband, Bill all of Beulaville, North Carolina; step-brothers, Bill Cunningham of Centerville, Iowa, Michael Cunningham of Urbandale, Iowa, Denny Stevens and Eddie Stevens both of Newton, Iowa; 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 2 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Rev. William Smalley officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 from 1 pm till 8 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville with the family present from 6 pm till 8 pm at the funeral home.Memorials can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society and can be left at or mailed to the funeral home.
