Judith Anne Miller's Obituary
Judith Anne Miller, 77, of Plano passed away peacefully in her home on January 25, 2022. Judith was born to Guy and Sylvia (Lee) Tunnell on December 7, 1944 in Mystic, Iowa. She received her education from Centerville High School and graduated in 1963. Judith married her best friend, Dennis Miller on June 25, 1963. To this union came three children: Daniel Miller, Jennifer Miller, and Al Miller.
Judith had many hobbies. You could often find her out in the garden, or inside sewing, painting, reading or crafting. Judith had the biggest heart for animals and loved her pets dearly. Judith was a member of the Plano Christian Church where she played the piano and organ for many years. She enjoyed helping Dennis on the farm and was a postmaster at the Plano Post Office. She was a talented artist who painted many different landscapes and scenes with oil paints. Judith served as a board member for New Hope Ministries in Appanoose County for over 10 years. Judith and Dennis owned a kettle corn company, Pa and Ma kettle corn.
Judith is survived by her children: Daniel Miller (Keara), Jennifer Miller and Al Miller, her grandchildren: Mackenzie Houston, Armani Miller and Callie Miller and numerous extended family members. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Miller, brothers: Paul Tunnell, Glen Tunnell, Charles Tunnell, Guy Tunnell, James Tunnell and Joe Tunnell and a grandson, Jordy Miller.
Services for Judith will take place on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville. Visitation will take place an hour prior at 10:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow at Crossroads Cemetery in Plano, Iowa. Memorials may be given to Plano Christian Church or New Hope Counseling Center and condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com or facebook.com/thomasfuneralhome.
