Judith Mae Ingersoll's Obituary
Judith Mae Ingersoll, passed away at home on April 1, 2025. She was born to Lowel and Bernice Hill on September 22, 1942.
Judy met the love of her life in 1962. They were caught kissing behind the bushes, and a year later married on February 1, 1963 to Larry Ingersoll in Virginia. They were married for 62 years.
After Larry left his time in the Navy, the couple then returned to Des Moines, where they started their life together in Iowa. On November 27, 1963, they were blessed with their son, Michael Todd Ingersoll.
Judy is survived by her husband, Larry; brothers, John and Danny Hill; sister-in-law, Gloria Ingersoll; granddaughter, Bianca "The Sunshine of her Life!"; and her daughter-in-law, Sally Ingersoll.
Judy was preceded in death by her son, Mike; her parents, Lowell and Bernice Hill; and brothers, Joey and Jim Hill.
Judy will be in our hearts forever as a loving friend, mother and wife. Her funny jokes at the card table at night are something that will never be forgotten.
Per wishes, cremation has been accorded. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00PM on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Bianchi's Hill Top, 2820 Hubbell Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 50317.
