Judith Arendt, age 68 of Centerville, Iowa passed away April 15, 2009 at her home. Judith was born July 17, 1940 the daughter of Pearl and Phyllis (Lemaster)Broshar in Centerville, Iowa. She graduated from Centerville High School Read Obituary
I was a friend of Judy in High School. We were members of the Methodist Church there in Centerville. I visited with her at the 50th year reunion and was pleased to see her. I am greatly moved by her death and extend to the family my desire for their loss to soon be healed and for them to know that an old friend shares their loss and experiences their feeling that someone and something is now missing forever. To Judith's family. You have our heartfelt sympathy. Bill & I were CHS classmates of Judith's and have so many fun memories of her. We are thankful that we were able to spend our 50th high school class reunion weekend with her. She added her usual wit to the occasion. And more than that, I am thankful that Judith and I were childhood friends through grade school, high school and beyond. We spent a lot of time in each other's homes during our growing up years. Angie and family, Todd and family - I was so surprised to learn of Judith's death. We had such a good time at our class reunion and I have seen her several other times when I was in Centerville. She was a wonderful daughter to Phyllis. Today my mother and I drove by her old home and there's a For Sale sign on it...lots of good memories there. She was a friend of mine in high school and we hat LOTS of good times together....she had a ready smile and a great laugh.... Angie & Todd, I wasn't able to tell you after the services what your mother met to me. As you know, we were very good friends. I told Beckie I think Judi was my very best friend ever. We werte very different but I think our personalities complemented each other. We had so many good times, shopping, having coffee at the kitchen table, going out to eat, going on vaction, the list just goes on and on. I would like to keep in touch with you. To Judith's family As a CHS Classmate of Judith's I was so happy that she chose to join us for our 50th Year Class Reunion, October 2008. It was so good to see her again and have a chance to visit. She was a very caring and loving person who spent a great deal of time caring for her Mother, for which she will be blessed. It is sad that she passed so quickly, yet we must be thankful she did not endure a long suffering illness. May God bless all of you and help you though this difficult time.
