Juanita Irene Moore's Obituary
Juanita Irene Moore, age 89, of Centerville, Iowa, died Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. She was born the daughter of Richard and Alma (Printy) Martin on April 27, 1919 near Melrose, Iowa. She graduated from Seymour Community High School in Seymour, Iowa in 1936 and would later complete her Normal Teachers Training.On November 1, 1941, Juanita was united in marriage to Paul Moore in Unionville, Missouri. She was a school teacher in rural Appanoose and Wayne Counties at the North Bend School and Palistine School. Juanita accepted Christ as her Savior and was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Church in Russell, Iowa.She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Paul Moore on August 21, 2002; sons, Ronald Moore and Robert Moore; and a brother, Merlin Martin.Juanita is survived by: her daughter-in-law, Phyllis Moore; grandchildren, Paula Mandell and her husband, Larry and Gina Van Wanroy and her husband, Meil; two great grandchildren; one brother, Richard Martin of Chariton, Iowa. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 10 am at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Rev. Carl Heien officiating. Burial will follow at the Brushy Cemetery north of Plano, Iowa. Visitation will be held 1 hour before services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
