Juanita I. Miskimins, age 81, of Centerville, Iowa died Friday, November 17, 2006 at Continental of St. Joseph's in Centerville, Iowa. Juanita is formerly a resident. Juanita was born the daughter of George and May (Niday) Riley on August 27, 1925 in Corydon, Iowa. In 1943, she graduates from Corydon high School in Corydon, Iowa.On February 19, 1944, Juanita was united in marriage to Close Miskimins in Centerville, Iowa. Juanita was a livestock dealer along side of her husband at their business, Miskimins Sale Barn. She volunteered her time to local school teachers at the Centerville and Wayne County Rural Schools. She was a member of the Seymour Methodist Church.Jaunita was preceded in death by: her parents, husband, Close Miskimins on July 19, 1995; and infant daughter.She is survived by: her son, Floyd Miskimins and his wife, Jodi of Centerville; brother-in-law, Rex Miskimins and his wife, Betty of Kellogg, Iowa; and brother-in-law Wendell Miskimins and his wife, Esther of Pleasant Hill, Iowa.Graveside services will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the South Lawn Cemetery in Seymour, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2006 from 2:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa, with family present from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.Memorials can be made to the Seymour United Methodist Church and may be left at or mailed to the To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Juanita I.
