Met Joyce and Jack through the Iowa Bed and Breakfast Guild when we opened. Sometimes we would be in the area and would stop to say Hi. There was almost always something good being baked or cooked. They were good leaders and always kind.
So sad to hear of Joyce's passing. She was a sweet, kind, quiet gal and so talented in all that she did. we gals took art lessons from her once a week at One of a Kind. So enjoyed those times. She was such a good cook, too. Always loved eating there. She will be sorely missed. Condolences to her family...

I was a member of Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church when Joyce was the organist. She could make that organ sound really good! I always enjoyed when she got to play a solo. Joyce was such a nice lady to talk to. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this sad time. Play that organ in Heaven, Joyce.
