Joshua Lee Mullin, age 25, of Centerville, Iowa died Monday, July 28, 2008 at Twin Pines Care Center in Kirksville, Missouri. He was born the son of David Mullin and Denise (McCreery) Schafer in Centerville, Iowa on August 5, 1982. He received his education in the Centerville and Schuyler County Community Schools.He worked for a time at Ortech in Kirksville, Missouri.Joshua is preceded in death by: his maternal grandparents, Daniel and Frances McCreery and Paternal grandfather, Ray Mullin.He is survived by: his parents, Denise Schafer of Unionville, Missouri and his father, David Mullin of Kirksville, Missouri; brothers, Jonathan and Nathan Schafer of Lancaster, Missouri and David Mullin of Centerville, Iowa; Paternal grandmother, Roberta Wheeler of Queen City, Missouri.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 1 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Sonny Smyser officiating. Burial will follow at the Haines Cemetery north of Centerville. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2008 from 9 am till the time of services at the funeral home.Memorials can be made to the family and left at the funeral home.
