John P. White's Obituary
John P. White, age 49, passed away at home in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa on Monday March 28th, 2011.
Born November 17th, 1961 to Robert White Jr. and Phyllis White Henderson. John married Cathy Patrick on April 12th, 1980. John is preceded in death by his Father-Robert White Jr, his father-in-law Wayne Patrick, his paternal and maternal Grandparents, and his brother-in-law Gale Woollums.
John is survived by his three children Jason, Christy, and Tyler. Four grandchildren Natasha, Sydney, Wyatt, and Violet. Four sisters, Jenny, Jackie, Janet and Joanna, and two brothers Jeff, and James. His mother Phyllis, stepfather Lloyd Henderson, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
John enjoyed many things in life, but loved spending time with his family and being with his grandchildren. His hobbies included camping, fishing, playing X-box with his friends, watching movies, and listening to music.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Lange Funeral Home in Moravia, Iowa with Pastor Gene Kubli officiating. Burial will follow at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Moravia. A visitation will be held Friday at the Lange Funeral Home in Moravia from 11AM-8 PM, with the family present from 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to Jackie White, sister of John Philip White, and may be left at or mailed to the Lange Funeral Home.
