John Strayer's Obituary
John Strayer, age 49 of Centerville, IA died Tuesday May 10, 2005 at Mercy Medical Center, Centerville.
John was born July 5, 1955 in Springfield, Illinois the son of Miley and Mary June Strayer. John graduated from Eddyville High School in 1971. He served in Vietnam. John was a avid sports fan (bowling). He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding motorcycles.
John is survived by his companion Cindy Montegna, seven children; Cameron, Shannon, Jeff, Daniel, Jessica, John and Stacey. He has five brothers; Miley Jr., Vern, Glen, Donald, Raymond and two sisters; Barbara and Carol. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be held 1:30 PM Friday, May 13, 2005 at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home with Pastor Gerald Campbell officiating. A memorial has been established to the family and may be left or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, PO Box 6, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
