John Lawrence Sheldon's Obituary
John Lawrence Sheldon, age 60, of Albia, Iowa passed away Friday, October 30, 2020 at the Golden Age Care Center in Centerville.
John was born on March 8, 1960 in Ottumwa, Iowa, the son of Roy Donald Sheldon and Shirley (Springer) Sheldon.
John loved farming with his father, John Deere tractors, and watching John Wayne movies.
Left to honor Johns memory are his cousins, Chris (Darcy) Sheldon of Moravia and Vicki Rulo of Moravia; along with several other cousins and extended family members.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Shirley Sheldon.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM, Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Moravia with Pastor Christy Ehrle officiating. Burial will follow the service at Hillcrest Cemetery in Moravia. A visitation will take place Monday, November 2, 2020 at Lange Funeral Home in Moravia from 12:00PM-8:00PM, with the family greeting friends from 6:00-8:00PM. Memorials have been established to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home, C/O Sheldon family, 1900 South 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
