John Jacob Johnson's Obituary
John Jacob Johnson, age 78, of Plano, Iowa, died on Friday, July 16, 2010 at the Mercy Medical Center in Centerville, Iowa. He was born the son of John C. and Ellen Mae (Snyder) Johnson on February 1, 1932 in Galion, OH. On July 12, 1961, John was united in marriage to Wanda D. Smith in Thayer, Missouri. He was a Forman for a Construction Company for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife, Wanda D. Johnson on August 27, 2000; brothers, Lowell, Paul and Robert Johnson. John is survived by: his daughter, Roxanne Reger of Plano, Iowa and a step-son, Fred Fett also of Plano, Iowa; brothers, Martin Johnson of Glendale, Arizona, Richard and Homer Johnson of Galion, Ohio; sisters, Ellen Palmer of Glendale, Arizona and Joanne Wilfang of Galion, Ohio; four grandchildren Micheal Fett, Tj Reger, Derek Reger, and Brittany Reger of Plano and one great grandchild, Jaden Reger. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. His body has been cremated and no visitation is planned.
