John James Inele's Obituary
John James Inele, 90 years, 5 months, and 27 days, transitioned from this life on June 14th, 2015 at Bickford Cottage in West Des Moines.
John was born December 19, 1924 to Michael and Frances Inele (Dymczenski) in Kenosha. On August 20, 1949 John was joined in marriage to Dorothy Duratny. This union was blessed with one child, Nancy.

He was active in the labor union and served the fire department for thirty two years, retiring with the rank of Captain. He also spent the later years of his career as an arson investigator for the Fire Prevention Bureau.
In retirement, John was an avid fisherman, golfer, and woodworker, but he especially enjoyed his family. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Dr. Nancy (Lauren) Hammond; grandchildren Leah (Eric) Thies, Ryan Hammond, Spencer Hammond, Justin (Michelle) Lange, Ben (Sheree) Lange, James (Nicole) Lange; great grandchildren Ashley Thies, Charolette and Camden Lange, Oliver, Quinn, and Jack Lange; nieces and nephews Maryann Leuker, Jim (Gil Gonzalez) Leuker, Kathy (Mike) Anderson, Janet (Joe) Orth, and Tom (Lisa) Leuker; sister Francis Schmitt, and many other extended family members.
