John Cerato's Obituary
John Cerato, 86 of Numa died Wednesday night at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. John was born November 17, 1917 to David and Antonia (Garbin) Cerato at Numa. John was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and married Grace Stanton there on November 20, 1937.
He is survived by two daughters, Karolynn Aldrich of Middleton, Idaho and Susan Cerato of Raleigh, North Carolina, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two sisters, Angela Simms of Shawnee Village, Kansas and Katherina Helffrich of Rio Verde, Arizona, one sister-in-law, Mary Cerato of Warrenton, Virginia, one niece, Alberta Munden of Davenport, Iowa and a friend Leona Fogle of Centerville. John was preceded in death by his parents, wife Grace, brother Dominic and sister Victoria Mihalovich.
Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2004 at Thomas Lange Funeral Home with Fr. Joe Miller C.PP.S officiating. Visitation will be held all day Monday with the family present from 6-8 p.m.. A memorial has been established to the 18-80 Club and may be left at or mailed to Thomas Lange Funeral Home 1900 S. 18th St. Centerville, Ia 52544
