Joey Todd Stevenson's Obituary
Joey Todd Stevenson, 57, of Moulton, Iowa passed away peacefully at his home on February 16, 2022.
Joey was born on February 27, 1964 in Sedan, Iowa to Oren and Judy Stevenson. He attended Moulton High School, graduating in 1982. Joey graduated from Indian Hills Community College in 1984 before joining the Army. He later went on to marry Rebecca Stevenson in June of 2002. Joey worked as a forklift operator in the manufacturing business.
Joey was a huge Laker's fan and enjoyed watching games. He often spent his time reading comic books, playing cards and board games. He was also a huge fan of camping.
Left to cherish Joey's memory is his wife: Rebecca Stevenson, his mother: Judy Stevenson, his step-children: Nicholas Van Buskirk (Angel Peterson) and Christopher Van Buskirk (Megan), four grandchildren: Cheryl Wise, Gavin Van Buskirk, Sophia Van Buskirk and Meadow Van Buskirk, a sister: Susan Stevenson and a brother: Jeff Stevenson, a sister-in-law: Renee Johnson, nieces and nephews: Whitney Moore (Derek Hedgecock) and Zachary Moore, great-nephews: Miles and Quincy Hedgecock and numerous extended family members. Joey is preceded in death by his father, Oren Stevenson and his in-laws: James and Roxanne Dennison.
The funeral service for Joey will take place on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 10:30 AM at Thomas Funeral Home in Moulton, Iowa. Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with family from 2:00 PM-4:00PM. Interment will take place at Sunset View Cemetery in Moulton, Iowa.
