Joan was a warm and kind-hearted lady. Several years ago, I was going through a rough time, and she made me a special pillowcase for Christmas. She said when I laid my head on it, to remember I was loved. She made quilts to give to people who had had a fire and lost their possessions, or had fallen on rough times. She loved the Lord with all her heart. See you again sweet friend
Joan was my best friend for 62 years we had such a wonderful time when our children were growing up. I loved her like a sister and I will miss her so much.It Will be hard when its her birthday comes as she shared the same birthday as my sister does and will be hard as I always sent them cards. I will see you again my wonderful friend
Joan was an awesome! She was such a strong lady who never complained about anything and never wanted anyone to worry about her. She loved her family so much and they were all her pride and joy (the whole army of them) I will miss her!

TO Joe Moorman and family, I feel very sad for the loss of your mother. I lost mine when i was 35 and I learned you never truly get over it. You just learn to live around the parents passing .I pray the the lord Jesus will carry you and your family in this sad time.

Joan was very kind to me. She joined the food coop for awile and loved it. She visited my garden and i hers. She was very complementary and i remember her fondly.
