Joan Aldridge's Obituary
Joan ""Carol"" Aldridge, 60 of Mystic died January 20 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. She was born the daughter of William LeRoy Garr and Lena Marvin on February 26, 1943 in Centerville, Iowa. Joan was united in marriage to Harold Aldridge at Lancaster, Missouri on June 16, 1963. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses in Centerville.
Joan was survived by her husband Harold, four sons; Richard Aldridge and his wife Kellie of Mystic, Jeff Aldridge and his wife Nealy of Centerville, Jason Aldridge and his wife Susan of Newton, Iowa, Jeremy Aldridge and his wife Janis of Lovilla, Iowa; one daughter Sarah Turner and her husband Lewis of Mystic; two brothers, Jr. ""Charles"" Large and his wife Diane of Albia, Butch Garr and his wife Peggy of Numa; four sisters, Marciline Hogg of Moulton, Mary Eddy and her husband George of Centerville, Nancy Seddon and her husband Jim Jr. of Mystic, Pam Seals and her husband Leo of Albia. Joan was preceded in death by two sons; Alfred and Joe Aldridge; two brothers; Shorty and Mike Garr; one sister, Olive Thompson.
Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 24, 2004 at Hilltown Cemetery with Greg Ismailidis officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.,. A memorial has been established and may be left at or mailed to Thomas Lange Funeral Home 1900 S. 18th St Centerville, Ia 52544.
