Memories of My Uncle JimTo my cousins & Aunt Della,Know that your husband, father, grandfather is at rest in the arms of our Heavenly Father & that you are all being held gently in the palms of his healing hands.He was the youngest of the 5 siblings of the Oge family & quite a quick-witted fellow for sure! He lived out in California where he settled with his family, a world away for my traveling adventures so I never made it out there to visit. What I did have was many photos from my parents travels that often included visits to Uncle Jim & Aunt Della's home along with ongoing family communications to keep me up dated on their lives. Whenever the Oge brothers would get together it was always a contest between them to outwit each other, constant pranksters! Uncle Jim will be missed but I am sure he is up to his old tricks once again joined with three of his siblings in heaven. May you all have comfort in knowing he did not suffer, & his battle was over before he even had to fight it. The photo that hopefully was attached was taken almost a year earlier when Bobby, Martha & I were able to go visit him in Iowa where He & Aunt Della were staying with our cousin Sandy in November of 2010.
